Temple Ner Shalom offers you the opportunity to become a member of an extended Jewish family. We are a heimish community for individuals and families to express and develop their Jewish identity on the Central Coast. TNS is also committed to providing meaningful programs and opportunities for years to come.
Information about Dues
Membership dues are used to pay Rabbis, building expenses, bulletins, printed materials, prayer books, postage, and all other activities necessary to sustain our congregation. We understand that not everyone is able to pay the minimum amount. It is Temple Ner Shalom's philosophy that your membership is more important than your dues. If dues present a problem for you, alternatives can be arranged.
MEMBERSHIP DUES:
We have three major levels of membership.
Annual Chai Membership: $3,600
Annual Family Membership: $2,400
Annual Single Membership: $1,800
BUILDING FEE:
There is a one-time assessment fee of $1000 payable over three years.
RELIGIOUS SCHOOL:
The Yad b'Yad program is administrated by Congregation Beth David, and all payments for regular tuition should be handled through them.
