Congregational singing is encouraged.
Shabbat Morning Services
9:30 a.m.—Preliminary service and p'sukei d'zimra (verses
of praise), followed by Shaharit, Torah, and Musaf services: Services
are conducted in Hebrew, with both traditional nusakh and hazzanut
(musical "formulas" and cantorial melodies), as well as
with newer music. Congregational singing is encouraged throughout
the services.
