JCC
The Jewish Community Center of SLO was formed in 2001 as a non-affiliated,
non-profit association to provide activities for all community members,
consistent with Jewish principles. Spearheaded by a handful of local
Jewish families, a 10-acre site was purchased and donated to the
JCC. Seed money for planning and development was raised from the
entire community. The 3,000 square foot multi-purpose facility has
been financed by tenant Temple Ner Shalom.
The site includes a clay tennis court and passive recreation areas.
A master plan envisions additional facilities. One visit to the
10-acre parcel will be all it takes to realize the beauty and promise
of our dream.
Whether you can give financially, make other donations or help in
contributing your time and talents, we welcome you. Join the hundreds
who support us with an annual membership or become one of the twelve
families who will retire the land debt and be honored at the entrance
to the site as Land Donors.
